Motorbike wrap: change the colour without painting

Wrapping a motorbike is the cheapest way to change its colour or add a carbon touch, and it comes off whenever you like without harming the original paint. Our 152 cm wide roll covers large parts such as the tank or the fairings in one go, with no joins. The most popular choices for bikes are Premium gloss black carbon, matte black and the fluo colours. Always in stock.

Which vinyl?

How much do you need?

  • Tank: 75 cm to 1 m.
  • Mudguards, side panels and tail: 50 cm to 1 m.
  • Naked bike or scooter fairings: 1 to 2 m.
  • Whole sports or adventure bike: 2 to 3 m.

How to wrap a motorbike

Remove the parts you can, clean them with isopropyl alcohol and apply the vinyl dry or with soapy water. On curves, warm it with a hairdryer or heat gun so the film stretches without creases and go over it with the felt-edged squeegee. Trim with a cutter and warm the edges again to seal them.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to wrap a motorbike?

If you do it yourself, just the vinyl: a whole bike needs 2 to 3 m, which is €69.99 or €89.99. For the tank or a few panels, 75 cm or 1 m is enough (€34.99 or €44.99).

Can I wrap the tank?

Yes, it's the most common job. As it's a very curved part, warm it little by little and stretch from the centre towards the edges. There's more detail on our motorbike tank wrap page.

Will it stand up to petrol and washing?

It copes with water, sun and normal washing. Wipe off any drop of petrol straight away, as you would with paint, and keep the pressure washer away from the edges.

Can it be removed without spoiling the paint?

Yes. On original paint in good condition it comes off with heat without leaving marks, and while it's on it protects the paint.
