Terms and conditions of sale
1. Seller
The seller in this shop is El Rey de las Moquetas S.L. (brand Vinyl King), a Spanish company, tax number (NIF) B88015433, with registered office at Calle Treviana, 1, Madrid (Spain); registration: Madrid Commercial Register (Registro Mercantil de Madrid), volume 37,266, folio 161, section 8, sheet M-664610. Phone: +34 910 609 932. Email: hello@vinylking.eu.
2. Scope
These terms and conditions of sale apply to purchases of self-adhesive vinyl, tools and accessories in this shop by consumers and businesses. By placing an order, you accept them. The version published at the time you place your order applies.
3. Who can buy
Adults with full legal capacity, and businesses acting through an authorised representative, can buy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give. The seller may refuse an order where there is a reasonable suspicion of fraud or misuse of a payment method.
4. How the contract is formed
- You add products to the basket and click "Check out".
- You enter your details and delivery address and choose the delivery and payment method.
- Before placing your order you can review it, see the total price with VAT and the delivery cost, and correct any errors.
- By clicking the payment button you place an order with an obligation to pay.
- You receive an order confirmation by email with a summary and a link to these terms. The contract is formed when we send this confirmation.
The contract is concluded in English. The seller keeps a record of the contract; you will find it in your order confirmation or you can ask us for a copy.
5. Prices
All prices are in euros (€) and include the VAT of the delivery country. The delivery cost is shown before you place your order and depends on the delivery country and the value of the order (see Delivery policy).
If a published price contains an obvious error that an average consumer would recognise as such, the seller will inform you and you can choose to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it with a full refund.
6. Payment
You can pay with the methods shown at checkout (for example, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or Klarna; availability depends on your country and device). Payments are processed in encrypted form by recognised payment service providers. The seller does not store full card details. The amount is charged when you place your order.
7. Invoice
Every order is invoiced in accordance with Spanish and EU tax law (One-Stop-Shop scheme, OSS, for sales to other EU countries, with the VAT of the delivery country). You receive the invoice electronically; we will send a paper copy free of charge on request. If you need an invoice in a company name or with a VAT number, enter those details when you place your order.
8. Delivery
Delivery times, delivery costs, delivery countries and risk are described on the Delivery policy page, which forms part of these terms. We deliver within 30 days of your order at the latest, unless otherwise agreed.
9. Right of withdrawal
Consumers can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the products. You will find the details and the model withdrawal form on the Returns and cancellation page.
10. Conformity of goods (legal guarantee)
For consumers, the seller is liable for any lack of conformity of the goods under the EU rules on the sale of goods (Directive (EU) 2019/771) as implemented in Spanish law. We give you at least 3 years from delivery, longer than the 2-year EU minimum. If a lack of conformity appears within two years of delivery, it is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery. In the event of a lack of conformity, you can ask for repair or replacement and, if that is not possible, a price reduction or termination of the contract.
The guarantee does not cover:
- damage caused by incorrect application, excessive heat or pieces cut by the customer;
- application on dirty, porous, resprayed or damaged surfaces;
- normal wear, the effects of sun and weather, or aggressive washing (for example, a pressure washer aimed straight at the edges);
- use other than the intended use of the product.
Send claims to hello@vinylking.eu, with your order number and photos of the problem. We will reply within 14 days.
11. Use of the products
Apply the vinyl to smooth, clean and degreased surfaces, following the instructions on the website. Vinyl comes off intact original paint with heat; on resprayed or damaged surfaces the paint may come away. The lengths given are a guide; measure the surface before buying. Wrapping a vehicle must not restrict visibility or cover windows, lights or number plates, and must comply with road traffic and vehicle registration rules (for example, updating the main colour on the registration certificate where required).
12. Liability
For consumers, the seller is liable in accordance with the law. Otherwise, it is not liable for indirect damage or for damage resulting from the application, removal or use of the product by the customer or third parties. Liability for intent, gross negligence and personal injury is not affected. The products remain the property of the seller until paid for in full.
13. Force majeure
The seller is not liable for delays caused by unforeseeable or unavoidable circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, transport strikes, supply problems or restrictions imposed by the authorities. In that case it will inform you as soon as possible. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
14. Customer service and complaints
For questions, problems or complaints: hello@vinylking.eu or +34 910 609 932 (Monday to Friday, 8 am–2 pm and 3–5 pm (CET)). We reply as soon as possible, and within 14 days at the latest.
15. Applicable law and disputes
Spanish law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you are habitually resident, where these are more favourable. As a consumer, you can use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, for example through your national consumer authority (in Ireland, the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission; in Estonia, the Consumer Disputes Committee of the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority; in Bulgaria, the conciliation committees of the Commission for Consumer Protection) or, for cross-border disputes, the European Consumer Centre in your country (www.eccnet.eu). If any provision is found to be invalid, the rest remain in force.
