Caring for matte vinyl

Matte is easy to look after if you do it right: by hand, with a neutral soap and a microfibre cloth. Never polish it and never use wax or shine products: they leave glossy patches that won't come off. Best to avoid the brushes of an automatic car wash.

Matte or gloss?

Matte is sportier and hides small dents in the body better; gloss vinyl looks more like factory paint. If you like matte with some texture, try matte black carbon vinyl.
