Wrap your car interior

The dashboard trims, the centre console and the door panels are the parts that change the look of the cabin most, and the most rewarding to wrap because they come off and you can work on them on a table. 50 cm or 1 m of vinyl covers them all. Our most popular choices are Premium gloss black carbon, gloss black for a piano black look, walnut wood grain and brushed aluminium.

How much do you need?

  • Dashboard and console trims: 50 cm.
  • Plus the trims on all 4 doors: 1 m.
  • Whole dashboard: 1 m or more, depending on the car.

A 50 cm length gives you a 50 × 152 cm sheet, which covers a lot of small parts.

How to wrap the interior

Remove the trims with a plastic trim tool so nothing gets marked. Clean them with isopropyl alcohol and apply the vinyl leaving 1 or 2 cm spare on each side. Warm the edges and fold the film round the back of the part: that seals it so it won't lift in the summer heat. Trim with a sharp cutter and refit.

Frequently asked questions

Which vinyl is used for car interiors?

Carbon fibre is the most popular, followed by gloss black (piano black effect), wood grain and brushed aluminium. All our vinyl is heat-formable, so it adapts to curved trims.

Will it cope with the heat on the dashboard in summer?

Yes, if you fold the vinyl round the back of the part and warm the edges well when you apply it. That's what stops it lifting when the cabin gets hot.

Can I wrap the trims without removing them?

You can, trimming in the car itself, but the finish is much better if you remove them: the edges are hidden and there's no risk of cutting the dashboard.

How much does it cost to wrap the interior?

50 cm (€25.99) covers the dashboard and console trims of most cars. With 1 m (€44.99) you can do the doors too.
