What is it used for?

For a full colour change that’s understated by day and striking in the sun.

What’s the difference between Black Rose and gloss black?

In the shade they look alike, but in direct sunlight Black Rose shows reddish reflections that gloss black doesn’t have. It’s for anyone who wants a car that looks sober black by day and surprises in full sun. It works best on a full wrap, because the reflections show on large curves: a standard car needs about 15 m. How much vinyl do I need?

Mirrors: 50 cm
Interior trims: 50 to 100 cm
Bonnet: 150 to 200 cm
Roof: 200 cm (300 cm for SUVs and estates)
Full car: about 15 metres for a mid-size car

Measure the part at its longest point and add about 10 cm on each side for trimming.

How to apply it

Clean: degrease the part with isopropyl alcohol.
Place: lay the vinyl and smooth it with a squeegee from the centre outwards.
Heat: with a heat gun the vinyl stretches and follows the curves.
Trim: cut off the excess with a sharp knife.

FAQ

Is the price per metre?
No: the price is for the length you choose, always 152 cm wide. For example, 100 × 152 cm costs 59,99 €.

Can it be removed without damaging the paint?
Yes, on original factory paint in good condition it comes off with heat. On repainted or damaged paint it could lift it.

Can I apply it myself?
Yes. For small and medium parts you only need a squeegee, a knife and a heat gun. For a full car we recommend experience or an installer.
